- 1 cup of citric acid
- 1/4 cup of fine sea salt
- 1 TBSP of cream of tartar
- 4 TBSP of oil of choice
- 10-20 drops of essential oil of choice
- 5 spritzes of 50/50 solution of water and rubbing alcohol mixture
- Silicone molds
- 2 bowls
STEPS:
1st: Put the 4 first ingredients together in a bowl and mix them
2nd: Put the rest of the ingredients together in the other bowl.
3rd: Add the second mixture to the first one.
4th: Add 2-3 spritzes of the water and rubbing alcohol mixture at a time, mixing thoroughly each time.
5th: Continue doing this until mixture is the texture of slightly damp sand. (ATENTION: IF IT IS WET, IT WILL BE RUINED. IT'S BETTER IF IT IS A LITTLE BIT DRY) You will know it is ready when you can squeeze it on your hand and it stays together.
6th: Put the mixture in the silicone molds and let it dry overnight. The next morning, desmold them.
