Argusino, Zamora, was flooded by a decision of the Franco regime 50 years ago.
The village was erased from the map by the Franco regime, but still in the memory of their former neighbors and their descendants. Argusino, Zamora, was flooded after the construction of a dam 50 years ago and neighbors had to go with "a modest compensation", as they relate. From time to time, some of its ancient inhabitants come to see if the drought has discovered any linde stone or trees that are still present in his memory. When the cemetery periodically comes to the surface, they take advantage to bring flowers to their dead. After half a century, the memory of this people drowned under 40 meters of water, remains intact.
